Dan Wagner, born and raised in Quincy, Illinois and has been married to Helena since 1971, they have one son who is married with to daughters and lives in Michigan. Dan is retired from the United State Air Force after serving 22 years in the chaplains’ office.
He attended Multnomah Bible College and Biblical Seminary where he received his Bachelors, Masters of Sacred Ministry and Masters of Divinity degrees.
He earned a Doctor of Ministry degree in 2006 from Bakke Graduate University in Seattle Washington
He pastored Calvary Bible Church of Portland Oregon for 14 years. He then went on to serve on the Elder team of Emmanuel Community Church in Clackamas Oregon, served with small groups leadership at Abundant Life Church in Boring Oregon, he served as Men’s Ministry Leader at Spring Mountain Bible Church, and is currently at Damascus Community Church in Damascus, Oregon.
Dan has served as the MarketPlace Chaplain NW Team leader with Market Place Chaplains USA. Dan still serves as a Railroad chaplain with MarketPlace Ministries.
He currently serves as a roving memory care chaplain in various care facilities visiting those who need that special touch.
Also currently serves as a support group Facilitator and Faith Group Representative/Educator with the Alzheimer’s Association.
Dan also serves on the mission board of an unnamed (for security reasons) mission organization serving Christ in closed Muslim countries through indigenous missionaries.
